Hey everyone! Again we’d like to bring to your attention 4 positions which have become available to you within the Unity committee. Here is your chance to work with several people who each hold outstanding values and all who really make a difference! The positions are as follows:
Secretary :
As Secretary you’ll be organising all meetings to do with Unity Bangor. You’ll be responsible for taking minutes during each meeting and circulating these documents to everyone who is concerned. Furthermore you’ll make sure that a financial report is available for all within the minutes.
Social Secretary :
As Social Secretary it’ll be your job to organise and book all social events (Fruit Salad, LGBTea, BBQs etc) that Unity runs! These socials can vary and it is up to the social secretary on what they would like the society to do. To help with social events the 2 PR Coordinators are available to help with posters, leaflets and general awareness.
Campaigns Coordinator :
As Campaigns Coordinator you’ll be responsible for organising all campaigns related to matters of health, social, political issues and others within the society. As always the 2 PR Coordinators can help to produce material for campaigns.
Unity Guide Coordinator :
As the Unity Guide Coordinator you’ll be responsible for the running of the Unity Guide Programme. This role is work intensive during Fresher’s Week and the following 2-3 weeks. From tradition the Unity Guide Coordinator also handles the sensitivity training we offer to Nightline. For this role there are separate documents which include recruitment and training.
We really do hope the above positions are fun and exciting and maybe we’ll see you in the near future! If you’d like to apply come along to our GM this Monday the 23rd of April, 6.30 at Braint Common Room (Ffridd Site)!
Hello all, we would like to bring to your attention 3 positions which have become avaliable within the Unity committee. Heres your chance to work with like-minded people to make a difference within your university. The positions are as follows…
Treasurer :
As Treasurer (which is a very important position) it will be your job to make sure that you take care of all of Unity’s money. You’ll be responsible for signing off all expenditure and bringing most financial decisions to the committee. As well as producing financial reports you’ll be taking care of grant applications to our Student Union while presenting all of this to the societies AGM!
Social Secretary :
As Social Secretary you’ll be helping organise and book all social events that Unity runs! This can vary from Fruit Salad to LGBTea or something else you want to do. To help with social events the PR Coordinators are on hand and they’ll be able to help you with producing posters, leaflets and general awareness.
PR Coordinator :
As a PR Coordinator you’ll be working with someone else in producing and designing all promotional material that Unity needs. It’s also their job to manage the society’s brand which is closely linked to running the Unity website and all online material. While the PR Coordinators manage the online image of Unity Bangor they may also have to deal with any public relation issues that might arise so it’s an important job!
So we hope that you find the positions above fun and exciting – who knows maybe we’ll see you on the committee in the future!
